Is it allowed to present the artworks on other web sites as well?
Yes, the works from the artists' profiles/pages can also participate in other online platforms without restrictions.
Do all artworks have to be for sale?
No, it is not necessary for all of the artworks to be for sale!
Do I have to send exactly 15,30 or 60 artworks?
No, you can send less or more artworks, but we recommend you to send us more than 15, 30 or 60 artworks. The gallery reserves the right not to upload all submitted works.
What are the fees used for?
For maintaining the online platform, uploading the artworks, advertising, and designing the certificates and the online and printed editions.
What kind of pictures have to be submitted?
High quality jpg. files. We recomend you to send us also photos of fragments or details of the artworks!
What kind of pictures don't have to be submitted?
Don't send pictures with logos or any other texts or signs. Don't send any interiorperspectives!
Who issues the certificates of authenticity?
The artist musst issue a certificate of authenticity for every sold work. Whithout this certificate
is not possible to send any work to our customers!
Which pictures can be seen on the homepage?
New / Featured Works are images by artists who have profiles in the gallery and change periodically. No additional fee is required for the showcased artworks!
Who are the "Featured artists"?
Every artist with more than 10 artworks in his/her online profile will be featured for up to one month. No additional fee is required from the featured artists!
Who is "Artist of the Month"?
Every artist with more than 10 artworks could be featured as "Artist of the Month". No additional fee is required from the featured artists!
What is meant by „Multitalent“?
The "multitalents" are individuals working in various art forms. For example: painting - sculpture or other combinations such as visual arts - music, visual arts - architecture or design, visual arts - theater, visual arts - performance, and others, Their work in both / three art forms is at an equally high quality.
What is meant by "Photography" category in the art shop ?
In the "Photography" category, the gallery only accepts conceptual photographs combined with manual technics, also mixed technic (f.e. overpainting with acrylic paint, collage etc.) and limited editions. We do not mean landscapes, portraits, animals, still life, etc.
Do the artists retain their copyrights?
The artists retain their copyrights, while DESYART Gallery is granted the right to use the artworks provided to it for promotional purposes on its own website and on its social media channels on Facebook and Instagram etc., as well as in printed publications, either owned by or on behalf of the gallery.
